Maclean resident Kim Elvery has just returned from competing in the Ironman World Triathlon Championship, which was held in Kona, Hawaii.

The euchre tournament held over the weekend October 21-22, certainly equaled, if not exceeded the expectations of the organisers, with 112 players on the Saturday, and 116 fronting up for competition on the Sunday.
Saturday resulted in Margaret Charlton winning 14 of the 18 games played, one game clear of six players on 13 games won.
