Riverbank collapses on Woodford Island

A section of Lawrence Road on Woodford Island has been reduced to one lane only, after several pieces of the riverbank collapsed into the river. Several large cracks have begun to appear along the side of the road for almost a kilometre, some, within only centimetres of the road. CVC’s improvement strategies cut by $10.9m

DA in for Grafton’s private hospital

Plans have been submitted to council for the proposed Grafton Private Hospital and Specialist Centre, adjacent to the Grafton Base Hospital. The proposed centre is to be built on the Albion Hotel site, at the corner of Queen and Arthur Street, Grafton.
